The Silangan Foundation for Arts, Culture and Ecology is a non-stock, non-profit organization. Founded in 2005 and currently headed by Dr. Joven Cuanang, it has a three-part thrust to promote and establish network, research, development in the fields of artistic practice, cultural exchange in the Asian region and local environmental improvement.

The Foundation is currently on track to promote the development and study of contemporary art through the establishment of a Museum for Philippine art from 1986 to the present. It also seeks to establish a center for research on Asian contemporary art and culture as well as to develop a sustainable artist/curator residency exchange program with neighboring Asian countries. For its ecological thrust it seeks to sustain a tree planting program with an ongoing seedling bank.

Member institutions of the Foundation include The Boston Gallery in Quezon City, Pinto Art Gallery in Antipolo City and the artist-run education center Art Informal in Greenhills, Mandaluyong City.
